Train: Review By mordfilm

We sat down and watched the film this weekend. In Germany they have censored many of the gory scenes, so I am unable to rate them.

The overall story is about some College wrestlers touring through Russia, and Ukraine, who miss their original train, and end up taking a smaller, unscheduled train to their destination.

The overall story of the film is not too bad. There are inconsistencies throughout, and some plot happenings that seemed to be quickly placed into it, without looking at the near future of them. Adding points only for the current situation, but not weighing their affects on the rest of the film...

IE: One of the characters uses an axe to put a friend out of his misery, yet within seconds an enemy enters the room and starts beating on everyone, the axe has been dropped on the floor, never to be seen again...

Also, one of the bad guys, chasing the heroine of the story under one of the train cars, pushes the car down the tracks. RIGHT. He must be the Russian cousin of Superman...

My overall opinion is that the film, although watchable, is not really worth the time. Too many oversights in the script, and plots. The actions of the people in it are way too underachieved. No one in their right mind would do any of this.

Much of the time you will find yourself saying "Ya, right." or "Whatever"
