quality story-telling and acting, a little shy in the laughs-department.

well, let's see here, i happen to be a just-shy-of-rabid trailer park boys fan, and was therefore very excited to watch this movie, seeing as they have been out of business for a while and all TPB fans are probably hungry for more.

if you are familiar with the show and the previous movie, then you already know what to expect in the fields of characters, story-telling style and general atmosphere, all of which are basically top notch but what you might not be expecting this time is the profound lack of humor in this otherwise well-made and somewhat poignant story.

to keep consistent with my usual "don't give anything away" terrible review style, i will just tell you the impression that it left on me.... i was f*cking miserable when it was over.

seriously, this f*cking movie is basically the story of a bunch of losers ruining their lives and sh*tting all over each other's futures and when the movie is over you're basically left wondering what it is that keeps these guys from just killing themselves and getting it all over with.

there, that's my review.

don't watch this movie because you're looking for a larf, watch it if you love the characters and want to see what their next round of bad decisions will be.

...having said all that... there are a few good laughs in the movie, but most of what you will see is just poor decision making at it's lowest and most retarded.
