When i was younger i thought this was a great movie and quite entertaining. But now, i realize how dry the humor is and how slow the movement of the characters and film is as well. this isn't a bad movie, just a little stiff throughout most of it. although, i am very impressed how the first fully CGI movie came along. it is a motion-picture landmark!
I agree about the dry humor. I too liked this movie long ago, and still think it's better than most family films that come out today. And yes, it is a landmark achievement that'll be around for decades to come.
