Toy Story 3 takes place when all the toys owner Andy is heading to college and is still deciding if he wants his old toys anymore. During all the packing and confusion all the toys, except for Woody get put in a donation box instead of being stored up in the attic where they could be there for Andy. Being the cowboy hero that Woody is, escapes the house to rescue his friends, but only to be donated with them to Sunnyside Daycare. When they first arrive they are meet by Lotso the bear who controls all the toys in the daycare, and soon all of Andy's toys find out that he is not to be trusted. So they form a plan to break out of Sunnyside and return to their owner Andy before he leaves for college and is gone forever. All of which leads up to a heartwarming ending which leaves the Toy Story trilogy on a high note. In fact the ending was so wonderful that if I cried during movies that would be the part that I balled my eyes out because it was so great.
After I finished watching Toy Story 3 I fully understood why Pixar is the king at 3D animated movies. My very first movie experience was watching Toy Story 2 when it first came out and now I get to watch the third and final one when I'm older and can fully appreciate this wonderful franchise. But sadly all good things come to a end, and Toy Story is one of them, but it does so by giving you a great feeling that you have just watched one of the best movies of all time.
I would recommend this movie to anyone out there, weather your young or old you will still enjoy this wonderful movie that has changed the movie business forever.

@Supes You're right. The plot wasnt really that original. For every film, the toys have been stuck in an area they don't want to be in, and they have to get out. Inception is #1 of the year in my opinion. The original Toy Story is the best of that series.

TS3 was about the toys getting back to Andy. So was Toy Story 2, and Toy Story 1. Same story. Was it a good one? Yes. Was there many emotional moments in it? Sure. Was it original? No, and no. It had the same basic plot with some variations, and was a rip of prison escape movies. Is that a bad thing? No, but it makes it less fresh then Tangled and Dragon, hence why I feel it places #3 on the animated features of this year for me, and even further down the list for overall favorite movies of the year.

I thought in my opinun it would change for me when I said it was the best movie of this year when I went to see 'Inception', but 'Inception' fell behind 'Toy Story 3' on my "Best Movies of 2010" list, and 'Toy Story 3' still remains to be 1# on my list.
