STORY: I had no flaws with the story since this movie gave a great final conclusion to the famous "Toy Story" franchise! Andy, who is now seventeen (That's how old I am right now too!), is going off to college and the toys are donated to Sunnyside Daycare which is not what it seems like. The daycare is taken over by a big purple teddy bear who looks sweet on the outside, but is evil on the inside! The toys have to stay there and be played hard all day and every day and they don't like that! I won't spoil anything, but this movie has a sad but great ending to fully end the franchise! You will feel emotional at the end! Believe me! A truly emotional story this movie has!
ACTING: The voice acting was superb! Tom Hanks and Tim Allen make a great team together as Woody and Buzz just like in the first two! Joan Cusack and all the original cast are also back as the main toys: the cowgirl Jessie, the piggy back Hamm, the dorky dinosaur Rex, and Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head! Blake Clark fills in to play the voice of Slinky Dog after Jim Varney's death, and Blake's Slinky voice sounds a LOT like Jim's in the first two and he does a nice job! But it's sad that Joe Ranft is also dead and that the toys he voiced in the first two are not in this film! But other than that, the voice acting was great! We also got Michael Keaton as the gay-looking Ken doll who brings the hilarious humor to this movie...along with Buzz Lightyear's dancing sequence when he had the Spanish language!
DIRECTING: I loved Lee Unkrich's directing to the film! His directing was actually a little bit better than John Lasseter's directing on the first two! I'm not saying I didn't like the first two. I really liked them both, but John's directing was actually pretty average in a way although he also directed my favorite Pixar film: "A Bug's Life!" Lee's directing was better because he made the movie more funnier and more cooler than the first two! His vision at the beginning right after the opening credits was also cool and I loved it, but I won't spoil it! If you see the movie's beginning, you'll see what I mean! Lee, who also co-directed "Toy Story 2," "Monsters Inc.," and "Finding Nemo," did a fantastic job directing for the first time on his own!
VISUALS: This movie has awesome visuals! I saw this movie in 3D, and the 3D fits perfectly! This is actually the second movie I've seen in 3D, the first was "Avatar!" I was both amazed and entertained by the 3D visuals during this movie! There's also a little short that was played before the movie started! It's called "Day & Night" and I enjoyed that too! I loved the animation in this movie!
OVERALL: Not only do I think this is the best movie of the summer so far, but it is also the best animated movie of the year! This movie truly deserves an award-nomination for "Best Animated Movie!" If it does get a nomination for that category, then I bet it'll win like "Up" did last year! Even as I'm not much of a fan of animated films, I do love this movie! It's so great, it's award-worthy! There are no flaws in this movie at all! Because of the emotional story, great voice acting, awesome directing, and amazing 3D visuals, fans of the first two "Toy Story" movies will NOT be disappointed by this fantastic movie!

Thanks, Screenwriter. And yes, the 3D visuals were amazing and colorful in this movie! I think you should choose "Toy Story 3" than "How To Train Your Dragon" for best animated movie of the year. And like I said in this review, Pixar's movies are a lot better than DreamWorks'.

Yea, the 3D was probably the bests since "Avatar". I'm not a huge fan of 3D though. I rarley ever pay the extra for it. All it is is a mean headache, but the color was excellent.
Anyways: Excellent review, man. But, I'm actually in a cross betweend deciding which animated movie is better from this year: TS3 or "How to train your dragon". Its actually a tough decsion. lol.
