Tim and Eric'$ Billion Dollar Movie: Review By Forrestgump1

Tim and Eric make there way to feature film in an odd way. For fans of the popular television show your sure to love it. But newcomers maybe turned off by the films gross out gags and strong crude humor. But the film means well and is by no means terrible

Tim and Eric for most of you who don't know is a popular tv show on Cartoon Networks late night persona Adult Swim. It has acquired many fans over the years and is now finally (with some help from some wealthy friends) making the leap to the big screen. in Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie. Now weather the rumors that this movie did in fact cost a billion dollars! to make is just absurd this movie was extremely low budget from the get go. But thanks to Funny or Die productions this movie was possible. Tim and Eric's Movie is filled with outstanding and surprising cameos that well shocked me!. I'm not a huge Tim and Eric fan I've seen a few episodes here and there and my friends talk nothing by positive things about them. But i truly could never get into there humor. It reminded me of a real life South Park. So for me this was not all that it was cracked up to be. Sure the gags are funny and they are extremely gross. But since i'm not a gigantic fan of the show like some people are my review may come as unjust to them. Regardless if there show is anything like the movie. I'm sure fans will do there best to enjoy it best they can. Who knows actually how many fans will make the trip to the theaters in March when the film is released. But i would not expect huge box office numbers for this film which you can rent on demand now for only $10.

Story: 3.0/5 - The story here is Tim and Eric are now high profile movie film directors and they have been hired by Schlang Incrop. To make a big billion dollar budget film starring Johnny Depp. Well they do just that .. in a way. After making very big exp-endures. Including getting high profile make overs to look more like movie stars and spending 5 grand a week on a monk type guy (Zach Galifinakis). They also hired a fake Johnny Depp for there movie called Diamond Jim. After spending almost all the billion , the studio allowed for Tim and Eric to use on the movie. They could only shoot and edit together 3mins of good footage for a feature length movie. Well this obviously does not fly with the head studio executives. So now Tim and Eric need to come up with a billion dollars before they are sent to prison or killed by the head studio executives. They find salvation in the swallow hills mall headed by a mad man (Will Ferrell) where if they get the mall up and running in a reasonable fashion they will receive a billion dollars. Seems easy and simple? doesn't it. Well now with the studio executives high on there trails they need to do whatever it takes to get in line , including the involvement of shrim!. and with the tensions between Tim and Eric begin to rise. Whats gonna happen!.

Story - 3.0/5 - The story here is nothing great. But from this comedic dream team i did not expect a very well thought out plot line for there movie. I almost expected the opposite. Maybe that is why i did not hate it as much as maybe i should have, because i did not have my hopes set high. But this is basically just a basic story line so it gives them an excuse to make the leap to the big screen so do not expect an academy award screenplay here. But for fans of the show they will undoubtedly love it. Acting-2.5/5 - This should also come as no surprise the acting here was not great either, but for a film like this, the acting does not matter. Its the gags and gross humor that really sets this film apart from other comedy movies. Tim and Eric are pretty much the same schmucks they are on there tv show. So once again for the films fan base. Tim and Eric deliver for them. For me i laughed out loud maybe once? . I was quenching my stomach more than anything. Which is what i believe Tim and Eric were going for. Directing 3.0/5 - well you guessed it!. The film was directed by none other than Tim and Eric in the flesh. They do make a decent transition as directors from there tv show to a full length movie. So i will give them some credit for that. Visuals - 3.0/5 - well some of the gags had well not so great visuals.

Overall: 3.0/5 - Tim and Eric make there way to feature film in an odd way. For fans of the popular television show your sure to love it. But newcomers maybe turned off by the films gross out gags and strong crude humor. But the film means well and is by no means terrible. The first thing you need to understand before watching this movie, is that Tim and Eric are not going for the funniest movie of the year, they are trying to be stupid, there not doing all this dumb stuff on purpose and that is why i mean it when i say, they mean well. The writing is not perfect, neither is the acting. But for its main fanbase this movie will be like an amazing thing for them. Which is why my review is not really for the fans. This is for the new comers, who are not familiar with the series and see this movie in theaters and are deciding weather or not to see this. So for the most part it just depends what you taste in movies is. I see pretty much anything and the movie looked promising and it was. John C Riley , Jeff Goldbulm , there list of stars go on and on. So be prepared at any moments cause you never really know whose gonna step out. But for the most part , what we got is a movie with heart and should not be viewed more than once. But who knows?. I'll let you make the decision , i'm here to give you my opinion.
