Through interviews with Registry board members, archivists, and notable filmmakers like Christopher Nolan, Rob Reiner, John Waters, John Singleton, John Lasseter and Barbara Kopple, the filmmakers demonstrate the way film documents artistic and societal milestones.

I saw this movie at Sundance and really liked it. Great movie clips and all the interviews are terrific. Interesting to see what Christopher Nolan sounds like. Loved John Waters - very funny guy. I had never heard of the National Film Registry before.
