Fans of the series and newbies will enjoy. Hoped for more, but got what I wanted out of it.

I don't think they could've pulled off aliens again and just seeing Mulder and Skully again was like getting a fix for a series fan. I would have liked to have seen more Skinner in it, but kind of knew this one was all about the two main characters instead. I believe they gave closure to the series and while I will hope for more, I'm happy with this ending. The "Season 9 Finale" was just too bizarre for me.

I liked the pros and cons look at a very real social issue. I think the writers handled it well. I think many will say this could have been any actors in this story and plot. Fair enough. But, it wasn't anyone. It was Mulder and Skully. So, I loved it. Plenty to like about this movie.

    Yeah, I liked it too, but felt a little let-down by the creator. I liked the closure between Mulder & Scully, and I agree with you about the Season 9 Series Finale, it just left the entire series open and was kind of like a Seinfeld ending. I expected more and I guess this movie explained more of the M/S relationship. Also it really didn't touch on William like the producers said. I think if they make a third movie regardless that this one won't make sh*t for beans, the 2012 alien invasion storyline that Carter wants to tell in XF3 is The End of the whole story.
