the film set during world war 2 sees a young boy hoping for the return of his father.lost and alone(in heart and mind)the young boy discovers an egg and after the hatching of a strange creature rears/befriends it.

the story follows the growing of the creature and its journey in life.

a lovely story for all the family,heart warming and emotionally stirring,some wonderful acting, a musical score that accompanies the film with great effect(s).
