The Tale of Despereaux: Review By Aima

I didn't read the book, so I dounno how significant are the changes. This film isn't classic "Pixar movie" that we felt in love in recent years. Despereaux is a pure old school fairytale, with the wise voice-over, a clear division of good and evil and with a clear lesson. It sounds c*mbersome, right? And it is c*mbersome. Because only one thing what would this 3D fable saved, humour, for some unknown reason dissapear somewhere. Yes, mice are cute, a few ideas from the mouse world are sweet , but that's it. After hour story began a very prolonged and sometimes boring. Which is good because your child is already sleeping (you know, no green monsters, farting or falling) and you can turn off the dvd, throw it out and finish Rambo 4 from last night.
