Disney/ Jerry Bruckheimer and Jon Turtletaub's "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" is a fun, exciting, and entertaining live action Disney movie, directed by the same director who directed National treasure 1 and 2. It is also the best Nicolas Cage Disney movie since the first National Treasure movie. The story of The Sorcerer's Apprentice was very well done, easy to follow and understand, it made sense and didn't cause me to get lost in the plot and story of the movie. The Acting was perfect, none of the actors and actresses did bad acting, all of them were spot on for what their chacaters were, even if some of them were new characters, that weren't in the original animated Fantasia "Sorcerer's Apprentice". The Directing in the Sorcerer's Apprentice had no flaws, the director knew what he was doing, and did it all right for this movie, Jon Turtletaub was excellent at the type of tone he gave this movie, that i have give him credit for the most. The Visuals were amazing, the way they went with the whole movie, was perfect for the story and plot of the movie. Overall on how good the movie was, i would say that after i saw it this past wednesday, that it was a stunning version of the Sorcerer's Apprentice from Fantasia, turned into a full length-live action Disney film with no flaws what so ever, and they couldn't of made This Sorcerer's Apprentice film better then it turned out to be, becuase it was spot on. Also,There was an "After Credits" scene in the theaters, when i saw it, and it is very spoilerish, so i wont reveal what it was, but if you stay after the credits after seeing the movie in the theaters, you will not be disappointed with what it is thet you'll see, meaning the movie itself, and the after credits scene as well. All in all, i give this movie a 5.0 rating for the story, the acting, the directing, the visuals, and if there was a rating for the special effects in The Sorcerer's Apprentice, i'd give that in the movie a 5.0 rating as well.

@brian@gallagher You can delete this movie review of mine. I wasn't very good at writing movie reviews a few years ago as you can see ^, so you can have this movie review of mine deleted.

this is an old review that i just found here...hmmm.. the comments are far more interesting than the review itself, i forgot which movie we're even talking about..
seriously, you guys should produce and film a movie, and i bet THAT would be a 5.0 rated one!
the review was okay. i liked The Sorcerer's Apprentice for many reasons...most of all; it was close to heart!

Alright review, needs breaking up but i am unaware what the purpose of saying the best Nicolas Cage Disney movie since National Treasure 1 surely that just leaves National Treasure 2 as i am sure he has not been in any besides those three. I may be wrong though, and this film is not worth 5 stars so i have to agree with the others though.

Thanks for not bashing on me about what i said about this movie, in my previous comments and review. I saw that your the only one here with a way much more nicer comment reply to me, then Paolo Sardinas, TheREALavatar, Diaigma, and (Insert Username Here), which they were all being totally rude.

Dudes, let's try and lay off. I mean by giving this guy sh*t, you only provoke him more. Whether this guy is a plant or just a fanatic, he seems to get a lot of attention for it, and you just might be pleasing him that way. Who knows, he might get off on it. If he's not a plant (or if he's a smart one), he should seriously branch out to other news related articles and reviews, that aren't in any way linked to Pirates.
Now, I'm just gonna judge his review for what it is; a review. I'd have to agree with @Diaigma, it's not a bad review, especially since you're newer here, and reviews done by newbies are relatively short and non-specific.
That said, it can be broken up a bit. The judging can be put into different categories, and you can at least tell us a bit more of movies plot. This isn't really a movie that can't take plot reveals, if you know what I mean. :P Also, I am pretty sure this isn't a 5 star movie. That's me, but I doubt the common movieweber disagrees with me.

If anything you're the one who that's the prime example of whats wrong with this generation, not me. So you've got that entirely wrong!

"No, i am not a plant, plants don't know how to use computer." You are the prime example of what is wrong with this generation.

No, i am not a plant, plants don't know how to use computers. I guess you could say i have an obsession with Bruckheimer movies, but there's nothing bad about that, i choose what type of movies i like, like everyone else does. I do post stuff about others movies on here too, but the reason you don't see that happen alot, is because i do that mostly with the Live Action/Special-Visual Effects movies that Jerry Bruckheimer is producer of with Disney movies.

Whatever. Your either a plant (you haven't dispelled that idea yet) or you have an unhealthy obsession with Bruckheimer movies. Or both. You need to branch out and post on stuff not related to Bruckheimer/Depp/Cage/Disney.

Nope. Name me a film that's won "Best Achievement in SPECIAL Effects." Nope. You won't find one. Special and Visual Effects are in the same grouping. I've visited lots of visual effects shops before, so, yeah. Just so you know, they are the same. Your review is okay. Could be broken up a little for clarity of structure.

Why am I not surprised to see Depps/Bruckheimers love child on this post.

Actually, Special Effects and Visual Effects are two different things. Special Effects has to do with what they add to the movie after filming it, adding things to the movie with computerized technology. On the other hand, Visual Effects, has to do with where the background or locations where they film the movie, so yeah, Special Effects and Visual Effects are two totally different things.

If you know that the visual aspect includes the special effects you wouldn't have stated "if there was a rating for the special effects in The Sorcerer's Apprentice, i'd give that in the movie a 5.0 rating as well."

Sean
Nope. I didn't just like it because it is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. I liked it because based off of that part of the original Fantasia movie, that i use to love watching alot when i was younger. Also, Yes i do know that, that visuals include the special effects.

By the way, the visuals include the special effects.

You only like it because it's produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
