Robert Downey Jr and Jamie Foxx are great in The Soloist. Based upon a true story from journalist Steve Lopez, the film is engaging, uplifiting, enlightening and emotionally satisfying. The script was well written and the direction was fitting for the storyline. A great film with a story that is hauntingly mesmerizing.
