    Irwin Allen at the top of his form. Don't see the remakes, see this one. Top notch cast, always something going on and when it came out, very successful and deservedly so. One of the scariest things is how Mr. Allen made the water a villain, like it had a life of it's own...always pursuing. It does show you hairstyles, music and fashion from the 70's though, so prepare for that!
