Once he started reading it he suddenly becomes convinced that book is based on his own life story and the obsession with the number 23 starts to consume him...
The movie starts with an amazing opening credits sequence and a great main title score made by the designer Michelle Dougherty and the composer Harry Gregson-Williams
instantly you are put into that man's paranoia and his obsession for this number!
The number 23 is a great dark psychological thriller with a twisted story! Well shot & directed by Joel Schumacher
This movie was a very under rated one and he didn't received the success that he deserve!
why? maybe because the story was too hard to get for some people or it's too weird to see Carrey in a serious role for the people who thinks he's only good in dumb movies?!
Anyway after The Truman Show, Man on the moon and Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, Jim Carrey proves once again that he isn't only just a comic actor with a strech face! he's pretty scary in that film and he truly gives an amazing performance here!
Warning: after seeing the number 23 you will see 23 everywhere!
