This is my favorite film out of the three, and it definitely got way better than the first one! Since I got disappointed after the first movie, I was wondering whether I should try this one out or not. So I watched it, and it was actually way better than I expected! IT'S SO AWESOME! Instead of making the action completely fake and off-screen, they actually did better with the action and the visuals are outstanding in this one!

It's 1933. Rick and Evelyn O'Connell (Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz) are exploring another pyramid with their son, Alex (Freddie Boath). Within, they discover the Bracelet of Anubis. Back in their home in London, their son Alex puts the bracelet on, providing him with directions to the oasis of Ahm Shere, a forest with a pyramid in the center out in the middle of the Egyptian desert. For it also being the year of the Scorpion King (The Rock), Alex has seven days to reach the oasis before the sunlight strikes the pyramid or else he will die, and at which the Scorpion King and his army will reawaken.

But Alex gets captured by an Egyptian cult who have resurrected the mummified high priest Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo), their purpose for doing so is to use Imhotep's power to defeat the Scorpion King, which would give him command of the Army of Anubis. The cult, led by Baltus Hafez (Alun Armstrong), the curator of the British Museum, includes the psychopathic warrior Lock-Nah (Unknown Name) and Meela Nais, the reincarnation of Imhotep's love Anck-su-namun (Patricia Velasquez). So now the O'Connells set out to rescue Alex, and are accompanied by Ardeth Bay (Oded Fehr), the Magi warrior from the first movie, and Evy's hopeless brother, Jonathan (John Hannah).

Along the way, the O'Connells learn of their connections to Imhotep and the Scorpion King himself: in a past life, Evy was Nefertiri, daughter of Pharoah Seti I (Unknown Name) and protector of the Bracelet of Anubis. Rick is a Magi, trusted to protect Evelyn. Now they learn everything while they look for their son. Let the action begin!

This movie is definitely a must-see! Stephen Sommers returns to direct a perfect sequel, but then later turns it down and gives the job to Rob Cohen for the third sequel. The story is brilliant! The acting is well-perfectly great especially Brendan Fraser, John Hannah, Oded Fehr, Arnold Vosloo, and the hot Patricia Velasquez returning to their official roles from the first movie, The Rock was also really good as the Scorpion King, and let's not forget the really beautiful Rachel Weisz too! In this movie, Rachel Weisz looks even more hotter than the first one, but I was so disappointed that she turned down the job and gave the role of Evy to Maria Bello who did really terrible in the third movie! Anyway, the visuals are outstanding to watch too! And last, the overall? AWESOME! SEE THIS MOVIE!
