@bawnian-dexeus Lol. Me too. I scrapped the review I had been working on, but it wasn't flattering, to say the least. I just think it boils down to the filmmaking. In a year filled with disappointments, which this year has certainly been (and which Les Miserables looks to be as well), no film was better shot or better executed than The Master, despite it falling short of my expectations. That's my take anyway.

@thedude-abides I can mildly agree. Of course our opinions on "disappointment" are different, we can at least find common ground here.
