Cheated out of its theatrical release, and given a straight to DVD release on 11/24/09. Bought it yesterday 7/29/10 and watched it. Decent film, but not great.
In light of the bankrupcy of the "Yari Film Group" in December 2008, yet still being allowed to distribute films under their creditors as of March 2009, this film has been pushed back from its original May 29th 2009 release until the rights will be sold to another company, or until Yari's creditors see fit to release the film to turn a reasonable profit.
Given the cast and plot of this comedy, I don't think box offive revenue will be a problem...especially if the release date is timed correctly.
