The Lovely Bones: Review By Bane. Ferguson

Lovely Bones depicts a young girl, called Susie Salmon, a young, woolly hated young individual, murdered, and raped by a neighbour, with other cruel intentions set upon his sights. Through the duration you are with Susie, in the in-between, still not yet dead or transplanted into the world of heaven, a task still set upon her shoulders, to help her family through the trauma and catching of this delinquent. Peter Jackson off from his huge success as a Director, of LOTR's Trilogy and the escapade that is the juvenile KONG, here he has tried to simplify something, from a heart endearing piece, graphic and astute, but trying to turn it into something lighter, but still with the undertone deterrent of the subject matter of rape. Though with trying to capture something with a huge following, and going for a low budget vibe merely extinguished in pre-production, he sets his sights upon a dramatised piece, though it is a very beautiful arch, symbolic in places, it all but rambles on and consists often of incoherent scenes that let it down. With great cinematography, a great haughtiness, the ratings board and Jackson's intention go without, the combination of the fantastical and real hard Earned ENSAMBLE PIECE, don't but seem to fit. Though with strong main leads, great work form Weta, it just seems wasted in a very not well presumed piece, often boarding on being something it could/ couldn't have been.
