I've been getting a bit sick of Depp lately. And if it's anything like Alice in Wonderland the ads will be nothing but Depp while the movie isn't centering around his character at all.

Agreed, Depp and Clooney are stout performers but I doubt they can win over a formidable fan base of this caliber.

While I love Depp and Clooney, this may be the most miscast movie in the last couple of decades. I just don't see it working. For one thing... Clooney in a western ? He is the most urbane actor out there these days, reminiscent of Cary Grant. Not the Western type. Depp can pretty much do anything and I know there is some Native American in his ancestry, but I know there are many Native American actors out there who would be a better fit for this role.
