Its been a while since I've seen a movie by one of my favorite filmmakers that was so incredibly boring. Director Jim Jarmusch is a master filmmaker, but some of his films are hit and miss and this movie was a huge miss for me nothing really happens in this movie and it is so slow you could cook a meal for four and still not miss anything. Sometimes slow pacing is good for movies but when the film specializes in nothing happening but a few scenes of short dialogue and the main character doing some exercising to control himself thats not a movie thats a complete mess of a film and he takes the film way to far with that. The movie was a complete waste of time and has to be bar far one of the worst films of 2009 and of Jarmusch's career. The few scenes of dialogue in the film are the only thing that makes the movie completely watch-able I understood why Jarmush made such a slow boring movie simply so he could show us The limits of control hence the title but just one scene of something other than the main character doing something other than walking around waiting for contacts would of made the film far more interesting. If you really want to know how slow and boring this movie is let's just say paint dripping on a wall moves faster than this piece of garbage. I would strongly advise that you not watch this movie your not missing much.
