The Last Airbender: Synopsis
The Fire Nation is waging a ruthless, oppressive war against the other three nations. The film's hero, the reluctant young Aang (Noah Ringer), is the "Last Airbender" -- the Avatar who, according to prophecy, has the ability to manipulate all of the elements and bring all the nations together. Aided by a protective teenage Waterbender named Katara (Nicola Peltz) and her bull-headed brother Sokka, Aang proceeds on a perilous journey to restore balance to their war-torn world.
Jackson Rathbone plays Katara's brother Sokka, and Dev Patel plays Prince Zuko, prince of the Fire Nation. Mandvi is set to play the role of Commander Zhao, an ambitious and hot-tempered Fire Nation commander. Toub is cast as Uncle Iroh, the retired Fire Nation general and devoted surrogate parent to Dev Patel's character Zuko. Curtis is set to play the ruthless ruler Fire Lord Ozai. Keong Sim has been cast in the role of Earthbending Father.

@laylak bro in cartoon/anime u can do anything becoz its imagination and in Movies u need convert the reality into ur imagination, u need a lot money , special effects, actors and more... , in Cartoon/Anime just Drawing, some dubbing actors and little more...

Hello. I did not see "The Last Airbender", but despite all of the negative comments in the 'Comments' section here, this film still grossed $ 129,703,603.00, according to the aforementioned 'Box Office' figure.

omg. aside from the horrible acting and seriously messed casting. what bugged me was all the fight scenes used so much slow-mo >:( and the style of each bender were messed. each element is supposed to be a specific martial art. they did't use the right ones.

All i want to hear is the creators of the cartoon's take on The Last Airbender movie (but i think i would have had a lot more fun with the movie i didn't know it was an adaptation of the cartoon they should have called the movie Ong: The Last Airbender lol) i would have gone into the theatre without Mega-High expectations due to the Mega-Succesfull Cartoon Series (in all, better luck on the next one MN Shyamalan take your career to The Sixth Sense/Stuart Little days)

The fans are the real critics not some person whose sole job is to find fault in someones work we're the ones who pay money to see and we're the ones who spread the word of mouth, who would you rather listen to or better yet how would you like to see a movie looking every bad thing or seeing the movie for what it is

Look, even judging it from a standpoint of ignoring it's source material, it's a bad movie. It's dialog is some of the worst and most awkward I've ever heard, and the movie does a terrible job of explaining pretty much anything. If I wasn't a diehard fan of the show, and went into the theater knowing nothing about it, I would have been scratching my head a lot. Not because I wouldn't be able to understand what I'm seeing, just that it was so poorly executed.

I'm not being picking just wanted a good movie, not great, just good, and this was a hard movie to f*ck up and it was f*ck up, alls it needed was to be accurate to the original source material and had good acting those apparently weren't the criteria for anyone who had something to do with the makers of this movie

The comments don't determine how good a movie or it's importance is so why do you people keep posting that same bullsh*t question it just a discussion between people who have seen the movie it could continue till next year but what it really is, is that until today nothing was bigger to talk about and the movie was that bad that people need to air the grievances but you people say nothing about a movie and focus on the comments total and point of the conversation bring nothing to the table and make that counter higher so ask yourself that question before you ask us
