The King's Speech: Synopsis
"The King's Speech" tells the story of the man who would become King George VI, the father of the current Queen, Elizabeth II. After his brother abdicates, George 'Bertie' VI (Firth) reluctantly assumes the throne. Plagued by a dreaded nervous stammer and considered unfit to be King, Bertie engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist named Lionel Logue (Rush). Through a set of unexpected techniques, and as a result of an unlikely friendship, Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country into war.

@dan1: Nah, I've been gettin' sick of those constant ads, be them online or on TV. Plus. it doesn't seem that intriguing. Ever since I saw the first "Rango" poster, with Depp in that same shirt from "Fear & Loathing" in just such a similar desert...I was hooked. It looks more interesting.

@slysnide Why not go see The Adjustment Bureau? A Philip K. Dick based movie seems more up your alley then an animated one.

@moviewiz001: Go see "Rango"? TKS will be on DVD April 19th, and I'm picking up "Black Swan" on March 29th. So those I guess are things to look forward to.
I'm actually considering using my "Drive Angry" Movie Cash to see "Rango" or something different before it expires, as I have no desire to see "Drive Angry." Of course that'd involve slight sneaking around, but I'm used to that. :P

That PG-13 crap is some PC horse manure. Glad I saw the proper rated R version. They better have the non-p*ssy version on Blu Ray.
