Its only been one year since a comedy about a random guy taking care of a kid. Big Daddy was releashed a year before this and we'll two movies about a guy and a kid is really the same. I mean they were both different in ways. But The Kid should have been releashed in at least 2002 or 2003. But this movie was okay. A little chessy and corny but nothing terrible.
