I must say that the new movie reminds me of the old days, especialy when Bill Bixby played the part on tv, with Lou Ferigno as the Hulk. The beginning was great I feel and not too drawn out for Hulk fans that know the basics about the origin, that is ,the one on the tv show ,and not the comic book.Personaly I think that E. Nortan stepped into the part wonderfully and even favors the tv character at times during the movie.William Hurt filled the shoes of Sam Elliot quit well and Tyler does her girly magic to cause me to forget who played her character last time.Nick Nolte was terrific in the last one and Eric B. did his thing to ,but the new cast was a surprise, a very thoughful choice.

a note..> The cgi ,I'm not much of a fan,but the way they orchistrated this go around was not too much over the top. The last Hulk did look like a video game too much, with him jumping from mountain to mountain,..man that looked just stupid really. What I liked about this one is it made me feel like I was young again somewhat when I used to watch the tv show,my fav. Incredible Hulk. Look for the original Hulk ,lou ferigno and David banner's actor Bill Bixby on tv with the black hair on some classic program, right before sesame street or something. If you've seen the first part of the tv show from the past after the first episode ,you would see how the beginning of the new movie is similar the way it comes on.

It wasn't a classic movie. It was THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER, a comedy television show which aired on ABC from 1969-1972. And the SESAME STREET show was kind of a homage to latterday immigrants coming to the USA who learned some of their English by watching the children's show.
