I shocked myself. I actually went out to Blockbuster (with mother in tow) and rented this film out because I like the sound of the story.

I never watch rom-coms!

I think the story was really original, and it was nice to see Jack Black in a (nearly) serious role for once. The contrast between Britain and America was shown well, and it was these differences that brought out the highlights of the comedy. The romances were cute, the humour decent, and all in all, a really enjoyable film.
