The hobbit is a exciting tale, and was one of my favorite books; I feel that Peter Jackson does a masterful job transporting you to this amazing fantasy world. I love the VFX, set design, costumes, and characters, but much like the first film there was a lot of added content not in the book that I couldn't care for. I feel there is plenty of material already in the book to work with to make a good movie, and doesn't need all the extra stuff that was added to make it more exciting. Over all I still think it was a well made movie, but just wished they would have just stuck to the source material for the story telling. Really my arguments ageist the film would only be understand by people who read the book, so if I were to have never read the books I would probably rate this film a 5 out of five stars.
