TheStonedReviewer (stay away from that stuff)

And Me OhTheFilmNerd.

OTFN: Now this is a film that is all British, born and bred, full of great comic one liners, and humour and a classic story from the mind of Douglas Adams.

This film is full of great visual effects, but none when it is needed, that's the great part of this film, its practical, and on location along with full visual effects wizardry.

TSR: Now Oh and I did not see this film together, because it was back in 2005, yes we knew each other but we were just starting out on our life long obsession with films/TV. That was the last time I saw this film, but it was incredibly memorable to this day, especially the scene with the giant computer that gives the meaning of life, what is it 41, I still remember that.

OTFN: Unlike TheStonedReviewer i have experienced this film over fifty times and never tier of it. its so full of charm and wit ans such a great plot, of one aliens human friend being rescued and then on hitch-hiking to till they end up on Sam Rockwell's ship, which introduces the most lovable and depressed and memorable robot in the world, Marvin, played by Allan Rickman, and actually physically performed by an actor who played an EWOk, and one of the evil dwarfs in The Chronicles Of Narnia, AND the main lead of Willow.

The script is punchy, the film is science fiction noir, or more or less science fiction that's been crumpled up, thrown in the bin and pulled back out and rewritten and pee your pants funny.

TSR: Entertaining for a good hour and a half, you will remember it for years, Allan Rickman is class, so much better than Snape who is not stretched to the full of his acting talent, great film. Great family film.

OTFN: Great music that sets the tone, great cinematography, great look, and pacing, and a superb watch.

The sequence following the destruction of earth then the introduction to the GUIDE, the music settles it all, it is just pure supreme film making.

I am still humming the music since 2005, nah, I'm not that lame.

TSR: Stop humming. Entertaining, sorry I do not have much to say, I haven't seen it in 5 years 3.5 stars for me!

OTFN: sorry. 4.0 For me, truly a fun watch, with great performances, and plot structure and its a truly a BRIT WIT SCIENCE FICTION BIT OF FUN.

@BloodandGuts I agree that this 'shared' review thing is weird, but you overract way too much. And don't tell him that he has a horrible taste of film, you you have a much worse taste of movies. And your first review is horrible. By the time you write yiur 100th review, it will only be a half-decent review. And you say the overall quote is gay (it's an overall quote not line, you sh*t-head), because you know nil about what makes a good movie.
