The Haunting in Connecticut: Review By A-J

Ok first of all i am a big fan of ghost stories anything to do with haunted houses ghosts or spirits in movies scares me and if its a true story thats a bonus but its very rare u get sumthin that scares me nowa days i prefer the old more creepier ghost movies. but what do i hav to say about this one. well to be hounest i liked the look of it and when i found out it was a true story i fort this wud be a gd watch but turns out it was a big dissapointment. ill start off with the positives about the film, first off its a true story so if its rubbush or not there is always going to be some intrest there and there are some pretty cool scares in there (but nuthin major) i aslo liked the way it expresses an emotinal side of the story some people are going to relate to that and will make u care about the characters and what they go thru but thats just the problem i didnt. I never felt anythin for these characters and with a film like this it helps to have characters u care about cuz it just makes the film better for the viewer and i just wasent feelin it with these. the acting wasent all that bad but overall this film was just not what it could hav been and defenetly not what i was hoping. its just 1 hour and 32 mins of jump scares even tho it felt longer since it tended to drag alot and the biggest issue with this movie is that its not scary there was a few moment were i sat and went wo thts kinda creepy but its nuthing thts gonna stop u from wanting to go for a piss at night. overall i found the haunting in connecticut unsacry, unimpressive, and to Predictable it reapeted itself way to much as in they see sumthin "oh no whats that" look away then look bak "oh its gone" theres is just nuthin new to offer here id say this is a rental movie but if u really want to go see it then check it out u myt think completly different it depens what u look for in a movie thanx for reading.
