What happend M. Night Shyamalan?

Where did your great writing go?

Seriusly, this movie could easly have been an episode from south park... ooooh the wind chasing after the people. oh no its the wind!

Seriusly M. Night Shyamalan can write really good stuff compared to many others out there...

But I have to say Village is so far his best even doe it was a 50 good going 50 baaaad.

So whats happening?

Thats what many people are still asking... well its simple as this;

We humans have polluted this world for to long and mother nature then goes postal and says like; Hey *ssholes! I gave you tsunamis, I gave you terrifying hurricanes, but noooo, you still are gonna pollut this planet. Well guess what, feel the wrath of mother nature...

With flowers!"

Yeah thats right, M. Night Shyamalan has made an enviromental movie, no surprise, since he did a commercial not to long ago about the enviroment.

You thought he would use monsters or even aliens (again) since then you have atleast something to fight.

Instead you get the flowers of the NorthWest of the USA sending out a special chemical and makes people go totally nuts, nuts like a... well I dont know like what, but they pretty much start to go suicidal one after the other.

Mark Wahlberg is terrific actor and plays really good in this movie.

He and his family gets caught up in the middle of the "FLOWER ATTACK" and are chased pretty much through out the entire movie.

After a while of running they end up in an old grannys house, and she turnes out to be WAAAAAAAAAAAAY scarrier then freaking mother nature!

Yes there is a point among al of this and that is that we should change our ways before we boil up or die off toxic fumes.

But seriusly If I wanted to watch an entertaining movie about the enviroment then I would just go and rent the Day after tomorow.

I will never and have never liked movies where the enemy is ubersuper and can not be stopped.

The best movies have an enemy which can be stopped.

This movie would have been better off with Alien monsters using some kind of "f*ck you humans" machine.

M. Night Shyamalan what happend to you?

Do you like this review?

Also, this movie wasn't meant to be scary, it was meant to send a message. It could have been presented a lil better, but i think he got his point across. His movies are meant to be suspenseful, not scary

Nice review, but i liked it a bit better than u did. I gave it a 4. I think the whole argument that m. night went down hill is bullsh*t. He never went back, all his movies are equally great. People need to stop nitpicking and expecting so much from him...but again, nice review :)
