A middle school science teacher (Mark Wahlberg), his estranged wife (Zooey Deschanel), best friend (John Leguizamo) and his daughter Jess (Ashlyn Sanchez) fight to stay alive as a powerful and strange event happening and creates a global chaos.

It’s easily the most violent screenplay that the director Night Shyamalan has written so far

but In the terms of suspense, tension, scary and gore scenes it's just not happening the way Night Shyamalan said in his interview! :-( it's more funny than scary sometimes!

But the opening scenes are pretty intense and there's also a good ecological message on this film, the visual effects are pretty good too

That's what I liked about this movie

for the rest unfortunately the story doesn't go anywhere something is missing in the screenplay! suddenly the movie loose his rhythm and seems unfinished...

it's too bad because the idea was great!

But it still is an entertaining movie to watch on the big screen!

    nazuk is right. and optimus, this is her 2nd attempt at a review, what I was commenting on was her first review of the film before she changed it. It was very meager and bland, basically 3 sentences. Your more than welcome to defend someone without the entire story though, to each his own.

    All of the data present in this review was known weeks, if not a month before the film was released. Desperately needs revision. I mean I know Night's films have a strange mystique about them, but considering today's ticket prices, I'd want something more out of this than restating the plot in vaguer detail. After all, reviewers have said that the whole movie isn't spent leading up to the happening, so where does the story go when everything does happen. No plot has been given. I'll look up another review on this. Nice try though. Would've been good for the synopsis on the MovieWeb page for the movie.

I can speak and type all those languages and more and if it's stupid i will call it as i do anything else that i find retarded which has nothing to do with the color of the skin! But if you like stop wasting time here and write a constructively sh*tty and idiotic review of any movie and i will tell you just how stupid it is-just mere facts. If you can't take it sue me!

    This is a really sh*tty review in my opinion as are all of your reviews vieille dame idiote (Madmax54) but you should consider looking at other people's reviews or a career change as most people here have suggested here it will work for you. Check out Beebs and Punisher/Cerealkiller's especially on this movie as most of your reviews seem like you went online and copied some info about the movie and decided to throw in some idiotic sketches with a lot of grammatical errors! FYI-I used a little French cuz we all speak English here but you keep making comments in other languages cuz you think you can insult people who don't understand the language that way. We can speak other languages and all kinds I have to say! Believe it your reviews are idiotic!
