The Hangover: Review By sloog2

Comedy Genius Judd Apatow has finally been beaten! So- like the olympics, let the golden torch be passed down to Todd Phillips, originally known as the director of "Old School". To me, this film is my bread & butter- it's everything you want in a GODD comedy and more.

It all starts with the simple tale of 4 friends who embark on the journey of a lifetime- a bachelor's party in Las Vegas. And as the 4th friend is expected to get married 2 days from then they all celebrate and "get krunk!" But- as one of their stupid friends mixes a set of drugs up with "roofies" or the date-rape drug- which gets mixed within their alcohol and they wake up in the morning one naked, one on the floor covered in a blanket, and one missing a tooth- not able to recollect a single memory from the night's festivities?!? And that's just where the fun begins!

The Hangover is seriously the perfect "Summer-Starter" film! It's that feel good and awkward at the same time kind of film, where you want your parents to go see this and enjoy themselves and NOT have them feel as weird as you do- it packs many of those moments and more into only 105 minutes!!!

And with almost $105,000,000.00 already made in ticket sales, I have a feeling this film along with Todd Phillips will be alive & kicking for a long time! I've even heard of a proposed sequel like two days after the film even released. But will we be ready in 2011 for another "The Hangover 2"-??? I will be! Will you?
