I think in times of recession and layoffs this movie will bring a lot of smiles to those who grew up watching this movie. I saw this movie when I was 10 now I'm 34 and still watch this movie with my kid. The thing I think people love about this movie is it takes us back to a time when we had no worries and just ambition.

Screw urselves Holywood!! Just when u think Holywood cant get any more ridiculous(Zombie Strippers!!!) What's next? Annie 2? Big 2? or even a Harry met Sally 2... Who comes up with ideas to recreate movies that aren't meant to be remade? The original Goonies was a good movie and here they go and mess up a good household name, brand, product. Hollywood has ran out of ideas...

Guys the idea behind this movie is the orig cast come back as adults with their kids and then both adults and kids gone on an adventure, it's around the net.. Sounds alright was a huge fan when i was young i was a goonie, lol
