The Good German is a very smart and interesting murder mystery that involves Government corruption,cover ups,a very cool story, and cool shady characters. The movie has a lot of clues that are thrown at you in fast past dialogue so you need to be able to keep up or its going to take you more than once to understand what is going on. The movie has the same look and feel as other great classic Film Noir movies like The Third Man,Vertigo,and even ChinaTown. The movies direction is also very much a throw back to those films it is filmed in black&white but adds a really cool layer to the movie. This movie is a classic film noir that has all the elements,thrills,surprises and is very unpredictable so you wont know what you are getting until you have watched it.
