The reason the book was good, it was a diffrent type of book for children, strange eeerie, delicate story of alien topics and alienation of the mnikd and sole.

An uncomfortable book of quite an eerie senario, thats why this book works.

The only thing the movie sticks too is the uncomfortableness, but from a diffrent reason:

A sour/sore cast.

The script is rushed and too utterly want to be part of book dimension but not too much to please the priests who, profoundly enough, made a huge huge religious march against this book, and its followings.

Also its a film, nothing to find thought with, this author is fictionally interested in the state of religion, thats hwy he has written an even more contraversial book called The Good Boy Jesus and the Scoundral Christ, the title name may be diffrent but along those lines, an even more delicate read for religious doers, its the reimagining so stop being sore old dopes and watch the masterfull crafted Da Vi Ci code and lighten up.

A childrens film that is dull, too adult themed, and lamely made.

Worst film to have turned up on screen along with Eragon and the pace is too long, even though whole story does not fit in.

Visuals are usually good in the sequences but beauty of films is hard to come by.
