The Gate: Review By The_Fallen_One

This is the first horror movie I ever laid my impressionable little eyes on and ever since i've been in love.So that is why it still holds a very near and dear place in my heart.My dad was absolutely right when he said it was a good starting point for young horror fans.It's about a portal that opens up in some kids back yard when a tree is removed and the little claymated beasties that escape from it.The story is funny and entertaining for kids,i dont know it would have the same effect on me now but I still love it.The acting is very typical for eighties horror.And how can you give an old movie horrible reviews for visuals?they suck now,but back then they were all that was needed.i would like to say the same thing my dad did and grade this one safe and fun for the kiddies.
