    No, this is not a remake and it certainly wasn't released in 2011. This movie is 'The Gate', from 1987. How it got listed as a 2011 release, I have no idea. Regarding the movie itself, if you didn't see it back then, is much more silly than scary. The "monsters" are little Clay-Mation dolls that are about as realistic as the plastic Godzilla in some of the older Godzilla movies.
