"Drift" takes us to Tokyo, where "tuned" cars are the rage and the tight spaces seem to necessitate "drift" racing (power-sliding/braking to steer the car throughout the race).

This latest entry seems to be delivered only to grab some dollars off the momentum developed by the first 2 films.

Decent diversionary entertainment, if you've got nothing else to watch. No need to own (or even rent) it. You can wait to grab it on HBO or USA Network (if you can stand the commercials).

At the end of the flick, we see Vin return, acting like he's gonna drift some BIG American muscle.

Ok, sure, yeah, right.

Anyway, with #4 in the works, allegedly pairing Vin and Walker again -- we'll have to see if we get anything more than just long-tail franchise entertainment.
