First, the story. It is amazing. the story telling of a story within a story. they say an oscar should go to heath leadger.. I say the oscar should go to this little girl(Catinca Untaru). Never in a movie have I felt a strong presence of innocence, neglect, friendship, and love. This liitle girl makes you feel all of that and much much more. You can not laugh, you can not cry, you can only brace the massive intelligence of this movie and enjoy the ride it gives you..

The visuals are unbelievable.. A elephant swimming?? Darwin and a monkey on an island?? You feel each and every character in this film.

This is a definite own for real movie buffs.. I only wish that more directors like Tarsem Singh exist. Or that more movies where made to this calibre and did not have to what decades for such excellent films like this
