I really didn't know what to expect going into this movie. What I WAS expecting was another "The Ring"/"The Grudge." It really wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't a great movie.

Lame acting, cool visuals, lots of jumpy parts (which this movie seemed to rely on for scariness.

I found myself doing a lot of laughing during this one, and I don't recall a single time where it was because of an on-screen joke.
