Remember the movie Dog Soldiers?it looked kinda stupid, but the film

was awesome.Now,Neil Marshall give

us The Descent.

The story is about a woman who suffered

a car accident and his husband and daugther are dead. So,she decides to hang out with her friends to explore

a unknown cave. But when the cave collapses, there trapped and not just that, some weird monsters live only in the dark,so its up to them to fight back and escape.

The story is cool, but more depth to it would have been nice and the script is

a bit boring at times, but it doesnt ruin anything to it.

The acting is excellent,it really feels that the characters are really trying to survive in the cave with

monsters in it.The visuals are dark

and red,it keeps your heart pumping a lot throught the film.

The director is Neil Marshall, whos previous films were Dog Soldiers ans Doomsday.

The Descent is a hell of a scary film, trust me it wiil scare the hell out of you.

I was surprised how good this movie was, although them crawling through those real small places freaked me out.

Good review. I personally would give this 5 stars but you touched on a few points that I totally agree with.
