Christian Bale/ Batman
I enjoyed how the actor not only portrayed his character but loved how the in depth emotional torture you saw along with how you see him becoming more and more aggressive in the film. Especially during the interrogation seen. I thought Bale did an excellent job here the only thing i wasn't 100 percent on board about the batman voice.
Heath Ledger/ The Joker
It has been a long time since I have seen a great villain in a film and i must say Heath's portrayal of The Joker was brilliant and breath taking at the same time. This character was not only highly intelligent but always many steps ahead of everyone else in the game. Cold, calculated and very intoxicating when it came to manipulation of everyone around him. The way Heath played this character was memorizing. Not only do you find yourself rooting for him to succeed but also wishing to join the cause. It is in my opinion that no actor past, present or future will ever play a villain that could tops Heath Ledger's Joker. May you rest in peace and thank you for bringing a fresh and unbelievable performance to your fans. As always you delivered and then some.
Heath Ledger April 4,1979 - January 22, 2008
Aaron Eckhart/ Two Face
I enjoyed how the character started off the great hope for Gotham and had such pure of heart and vigilance. Then do to a tragedy in the film not only to himself but a loved one he finds himself manipulated by the joker's philosophy on life and falls from grace. I think Aaron's take on this character was alot better than we have seen before. We saw a man go from compassion and virtue. To literally using the same tactics and uncompromising nature of those he prosecuted and despised.
Michael Caine/Alfred
What can i say its Michael Caine. The one thing i liked the most in this film is that we got more of a back story on Alfred. We find out before he was a butler he had experience working for a government. Which in turns makes him the perfect person to guide Bruce and make sure he stays humble and doesn't stray to far off course. And even in his darkest hour to keep him focused on the task at hand and what needs to be done regardless of what people think. I don't think anyone could have played this role better. Except for the Michael Gough who played the character Alfred in four other previous batman films.
Gary Oldman/Lieutenant Gordan
I liked how the character grew from the first film Nolan directed. In the first he was as true to justice and the right way of life in the first film as this one. However corruption was a much bigger faction in the first film. In this one we see him being more bold and a risk taker to get the job done. Even at times throwing himself on the line to protect his family and colleague. I couldn't see anyone else doing this role as good as Gary Oldman. It was nice to see a great actor portrayal this character than what he had experienced in three previous batman films.
Visually
I thought with the angles and directing of this film i don't see how it could have been shot any better. Between the high flying jumps, explosions and craziness during the film i literally felt like i was piggy backing the entire time as if to almost be in the same room or just going along for the ride.
Over All
This film is a must for anyone to see and own. No collection is complete without it. Not only did The Staff, Crew and actors do such a great job with this film. It made us forget about the few batman films that were just not up to par. It made the franchise once again respectable and something to be excited about and desired.
