Calling this a great superhero movie is an understatment. The Dark Knight is a visual and oral masterpiece. It's messaic portrayal of Batman may not be new but it is the first time it has been delt with such panache.

Heath Ledger's joker is the perfect villain, psychotic yet somehow I felt sympathetic towards him. He is the satan of Gotham. And then theres Harvey Dent...
