Plot is Batman will fall, then realize he's done that before as a kid and learn to pull himself back together no matter how many pieces he may end up in.
I believe Nolan will make it interesting nonetheless as nothing else is to be expected except a vigorous and engaging plot to help tie up the story in a neat little package for an early X-mas gift next year. God speed Nolan.
No. Riddler is not going to appear in this film at all. From the knowledge we have it's Bane, Catwoman, Talia Al Ghul, and quite possibly Ra's Al Ghul; he will appear in the beginning of the film in a flashback, but the appearance of Liam Neeson is likely. Still unconfirmed however. Possibilities of Hugo Strange making a brief appearance as well as the Mad Scientist, having that in Bane's first appearance Vengeance of Bane Dr. Hugo Strange was in fact in charge of the major surgery and chemical testing of the strength enhancing compound Venom. That is an educated guess however, I am not remotely certain.
And there's been rumors Cillian Murphy as reprized his role as Johnathan Crane/Scarecrow, given the information that was rumored on set.
I totally wouldn't be surprised if they had the cameos of more than 10 villains. I think they had Killer Croc in The Dark Knight...it brings more meaning to the movie for fans when they can catch those things and they're not obvious. It fleshes out the world without adding too much to the story.

I also really believe that the Accountant in The Dark Knight is the beginning of what could be the Riddler.
