While many people had there doubts from the start. Rest assured Christopher Nolan has once again done what he does best, brought as 3 pitch perfect films all in a row. Its no question what Nolan has done here, bringing to life one of the most iconic superheros of the best 20 years. Rebooting a franchise and a brand name that was last well beneath the depths when "Batman and Robin" was released almost a decade ago. "Batman Begins" was stylish and stunning in its own way imaginable while "Dark Knight" had one of the best performance in entire cinematic history by the late great Heath Ledger. But this review is for the concluding chapter in Nolan's trilogy and i must say ...its flawless. I had no doubt in my mind that this film was going to be anything short of perfection and that is exactly what it was..perfect. While of course its hard to hold a candle in spite of Dark Knight ..that is tough to sell..with the great advantage of Heath Ledger. But however Dark Knight Rises is still a masterpiece that is thrilling and exciting while at the same time ..gripping with your emotions and scenes that will literally make your jaw drop. With the new additions here of John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) along with Selena Kyle a.k.a Cat-Woman (Anne Hathaway) and the newest villain added to the long list of Nolan favorites Tom Hardy kills the role as the infamous "Bane". Tom Hardy truly delves into this role and truly makes it his own and his performance deserves to go in line with some of the best villains in cinematic history. That voice you really can't get past .. its chilling and eerie and its so thrilling every time he is on screen. Playing a baddie can't be easy, but Hardy surly takes the role and makes it his own and one that will never be forgotten. While we have all our loving favorites return. Jim Gordon (Gary Oldmen). Lucius Fox (Morgan Freemen) .. Alfred (Micheal Cain) and of course Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale).

Story: (5/5) - What makes the Dark Knight films so good?..enthralling and so much fun to watch?. Its the time and effort put into the story-line that Nolan and company have come to perfect. This story was monumental with so many different turns happening at every minute up to the time when the credits rolled i was held into the movies grasp and could not bound myself to glance away for one meesley second. The fact the film takes place over the course of years and months truly make for an entertaining aspect that is for sure. Add in the new characters including an amazing and worthy foe to Batman which is Bane...then yes. Acting: (5/5) a film on this level of epic proportions does not come without the best acting you could ever see in a major motion picture. Most notable scene stealer was Tom Hardy as the ever so tough and buff walking bulldozer Bane. While Anne Hathaway gives new meaning to the word flexible & Micheal Cain truly shows us his sensitive side more often than not. Add in newcomers Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the always great Gary Oldmen well then ..there really is not much to be said other than WOW. How completely baffled i am at how superb the acting was no doubt and its going to take multiple viewings for me to determine if this was better than the Dark Knight ..that important thing to note is ..that it is in question. Directing: (5/5) Chris Nolan where to being. His career begin ever so long ago with the cult favorite Memento. Then his career started to go in full swing with Insomnia. But it was not till 2005 when a little film gave him his "star power" "Batman Begins" a movie no one saw coming. A movie everyone began to write off and Ultimately well here we are 7 years later. Since then his directed the monster sequel Dark Knight and fan favorite Inception. Now he truly shows just how good of a director he truly is..not since Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings..have there been 3 stand alone pitch perfect films in a series. I will never again doubt what Nolan can do and i do tip my hat to him, because words can not even begin to describe the movie he released to audiences tonight. Visuals (5/5) - While the cinematography was fantastic and spectacular. The visuals on Gothem City were truly flawless although i did not see the film in IMAX...Dark Knight Rises was still pretty incredible in the regular format as well and not adding the surcharge of 3D ticket prices. Dark Knight Rises is a film to be enjoyed again and again.

Overall: (5/5) - A stunning and pitch perfect conclusion to the ultimate trilogy. TDKR is Epic, Explosive an emotional powerhouse. Nolan has crafted an immersible and unforgettable version of the cape crusader that is bold and daring. Best Film of 2012. No contest. Well how to end this on a higher note than i already have said. The action sequences are off the wall .. the fight scenes between Batman and Bane.. i could not even begin to tell you. The story grips you in for the long haul. This film is a mammoth and does not dare be reckoned with. I only wish that Heath Ledger could have reprised his role as Joker. Without a doubt the best trilogy and hands down best conclusion to a series and while its sad to say goodbye to the Nolan version of Batman. I truly do hope for the future and the upcoming "Superman" film. But one thing is for damn sure ..these movies that Christopher Nolan has made, these movies he has directed ever since Day 1 he has had one goal to make the greatest Batman films this world will every see..the story we need to know. How everything begin to the stunning conclusion. The Dark Knight Rises will leaved you breathless and this film is truly 100% Perfect and is a stunning spectacle that will go down in history along with Nolan as one of the best films and director in the history of film-making and for years to come we will look back on this series and realize Batman will never be the same again. An instant classic.

A+++
