The movie followed the premise very well and kept it rather believable. The acting of the fighters was good, couldn't really ask much more of vinnie jones, damn good Brit and very good at what he does.
Directing came at a premium with scott wiper, but he made it happen in this, pretty impressive debut. I wouldn't put it past him to continue making movies of the acting genre. Visually the island was a great setting and the weapons and camera angles were thought out well to fit what he wanted to get across.

After watching it I only have one real complaint, and that is that too many of these people were trying to team up rather having an all out slugfest.. another thing that bothered me was the poor acting by the crew filming the show and obviously the guy in control of it..
What made this movie great was the screenplay between steve austin and vinnie jones.. both did a really good job with their roles and how they conducted themselves on screen.
Obviously the fight scenes were nice, and I like the fact that Steve Austin wasn't doing signature wrestling moves in the fights like "the rock" tends to do in all of his fighting.. he kept it street which made it believable.
All in all it was a good action flick that kept me entertained, however be aware this is probably not the kind of movie you would like to buy and watch over and over again, its kind of a once and done affair.
