The Bourne Identity: Review By SCREENWRITER

Yup! This is definatly one of the greatest spy flicks of this decade! I absolutley loved this movie! It had great action, an interesting plot, great acting, and it was really fun to watch! Now, this movie was a book series written by Robert Ludlum in 1980. I actually read the book and seen the 1988 TV movie called "The Bourne Identity". That's right! This was actually a TV movie back in 1988. I enjoyed this 2002 version much more, but the 1988 version is worth the watch too! This movie follows the book very well and it really was a great start to a great trilogy. I actually read on IMDB that there will be a fourth Bourne movie to come out in 2010. There is no title for the movie yet, but I actually hope there is a fourth. I enjoyed the third very much and I thought the second was decent. So, I hope a fourth actually does happen.

THE GOOD OF THE MOVIE:

The movie has a stand-up plot that keeps the watchers very, VERY interested. It has loads of action and great suspense to keep you watching the whole thing.

THE BAD OF THE MOVIE:

In my opinon, there isn't really a bad to this movie. I enjoyed every part and aspect of this. So, no bad!

ACTING:

Matt Damon plays Jason Bourne and he does a very good job! I can't picture anyone else doing as great as Matt Damon did. He isn't oscar worthy for his performence but he does a swell job! Matt Damon is in other movies such as "The Departed", "The Good Shepard", "Che: Part Two", "Ocean's Eleven", "Ocean's Twelve", and "Ocean's Thirteen", "The Brother's Grimm", "Stuck on You", and more. Clive Owen plays The Professer in this movie. His role isn't huge but Clive does a good job in it. Clive Owen is in other movies such as "The International", "Shoot Em' Up", "Derailed", and more. Chris Cooper is in this movie and he does a good job as we'll. You can see Chris Cooper in other movies such as "Syrainia", "The Bourne Supremecy", "Jarhead", and more. Brian Cox also stars in this movie and he does a good job too! Hell, every performence is good. I wasn't dissapointed with any. So, all and all, the movie has great acting. No performence should dissapoint you.

DIRECTION:

The movie has good direction and it shouldn't bother you. Movies usually don't have bad direction so it's an obvious five!

VISUALS:

The movie has great visuals that will keep you blown away!

OVERALL:

Overall, a great flick! It's very enjoyable to watch and I really liked this movie a lot! If you already haven't seen this first installment, then I recommend you do. See this!
