The Bounty Hunter: Review By Solar XI

Not to much of a lovable film as you find yourself watching the same film you have seen before.

Romantic comedies aren't much to brag about these days, especially when they are filled with the cliches. Nevertheless they are continuously made to attract the female gender to shell out a good ten bucks to see something they saw the weekend before, but who am I to judge.

Milo is a bounty hunter who secures lousy assignments for petty cash. Nicole is a reporter for the Daily News who has missed a court date for assaulting an officer. Milo lucks up when is employer gives him the duties of finding and bringing in Nicole. Of course Milo's fun in torturing are interrupted as Nicole has a case of her own-finding a murderer.

The cast give bland performances but still the humor comes from Aniston's recklessness. With Butler shelling out less humor that his 2009 film The Ugly Truth, Aniston carries the film as she is the main reason the pair get into the trouble they do. Peter Greene plays the film's villain while Dorian Missick (Lucky Number Slevin) portrays Milo's cop friend Bobby.

Andy Tennant's direction of the film is a miss as was Tennant's last romantic comedy, Fool's Gold. Tennant does manage to get the story to the screen but fails to really show anything new. With a story filled with cliches and an extremely predictable ending, Tennant's last romantic comedy to entertain was Hitch.

The Bounty Hunter isn't all that great of a film and you'd have more fun with The Ugly Truth. With few laughs, this movie isn't worth spending money really. Wait for it when comes to your premium channels.
