The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi: Review By John2347

Any time you watch a Takeshi Kitano(Brothers,Boiling Point,& A scene at Sea) film you can and will not be disappointed the man acts,directs,and writes his own films And his addition to the Zatoichi series is one of his best films. The movie has every thing you would want to see in a Zatoichi film the great land scape corrupt villains and of course fast swordplay. The story of the movie is great because you get three sets of stories with three different sets of characters that has one outcome and that was one of the many things I enjoyed about it. The movie is an action movie but it does not give you the satisfaction of giving you action every 10 to 15 minutes. Its the kind of action movie that is very well paced,strong in story,built on character and is in no rush to get to the climax.
