Plot: Everyone in 1880s America knows Jesse James. He's the nation's most notorious criminal, hunted by the law in 10 states. He's also the land's greatest hero, lauded as a Robin Hood by the public. Robert Ford? No one knows him. Not yet. But the ambitious 19-year-old aims to change that. He'll befriend Jesse, ride with his gang. And if that doesn't bring ford fame, he'll find a deadlier way.

Lets start by saying director Andrew Dominik did an outstanding job directing his actors. Every actor fits there character and every character has a meaning. This film stars the wickedly entertaining Casey Affleck and Brad Pitt, followed by Sam Shepard, Sam RockWell and Jeremy Renner. This film has beautiful cinematography and a tone that's just unforgettable. The first time I saw this film I didn't know what to think because it was very slow and hard to understand. But the more I watched it the more everything came together and created an amazing story. This is not your action packed gun blazing type of western movie, its a character study film. Every actor did a fine job bringing realism to there own character but Casey Affleck steals the show with his soft spoken but vile performance. There's no other actor that sounds like Casey and that is what makes him so great in this movie because you don't know what to expect from him. All in all, this is an impressive, majestic achievement.

@rlt ok lol, that makes sense. I'm not saying you have to write 20 paragraphs, because that's too long. it's just that you describe a bunch of aspects in 1 paragraph, which is kind of strange. I mean, break into 2 or 3 paragraphs

You don't have to have 20 paragraphs to write a review, and I only write reviews on movies I like!
