Acting : This incarnation featured a much better roster of actors in my opinion. The only actors from the original films that stuck with me were Willem Dafoe and GG and Alfred molina as Otto Octavius.instead of Mary Jane we Finally get Gwen Stacy (Played Excellently by Emma Stone) done right, and instead of Green Goblin we finally get The Lizard/ Curt Connors (after 2 films of teasing Dr. Connors)(played by Rhys Iffans) as for our web slinging smart ass he is Less Dweeby and more Nerdy and yes theres a difference Spidey this time around is played by Andrew Garfield.
Story: This film is pretty much the Ultimate Universe of Spider-Man Movies although not much is taken from the Ultimate Comics but from the Original Comics Amazing Spider-Man (Go Figure) The First Hour of the film is pretty much Peter Parker Dealing with everyday teenager problems such as how do i talk to the hottest girl in school with out sounding like an idiot and just figuring out who he is and what he wants to do with his life. By the Time Uncle Ben dies you wish it would happen sooner but that's not a problem its just we as an audience wanna see Spidey Beat the hell out of the Lizard. Overall though the Story was Phenomenal
Personal Problems: In the movie there are several mentions between characters that Norman Osbourne is in fact dying from what we aren't really sure but the possible solution to curing him is the equation that Peter Gives Dr. Connors which ultimately turns him in to the Lizard, after the first transformation of the lizard Dr. Ratha or what ever the indian guys name was takes a canister of of the Lizard serum and states he is going give it to Norman Osbourne. If so upon being injected with the supposed healing serum wouldn't Norman Osbourne just turn into A Lizard person and not Green Goblin? I know it's not a major thing but still.
Personal Plus's: Flash Thompson: Instead of giving him 5 lines of dialogue we actually got to know Flash in this film he was a human character and not a walking stereotype. and The last scene with him wearing the Spidey shirt was a good nod to the comics. End Credits Scene: Its safe to say that we wont be seeing Green Goblin until probably the third movie because the villain for the next film is either Mysterio or Electro please let me know what you think in the comments.
Overall: Great Acting, great story and I must say Lizard was done so bad ass I really didn't expect him to talk so when he did It put a smile on my face.
